Sol screams to Jen that something is awry when she awakens one night in agony. When they learn that Sol has a tumour, he promises Jen that after the doctors remove it, everything will be OK. If the news is bad, Sol advises Jen that they should buy a dog. The doctor notifies them that everything is alright and that the lab results are good after receiving the results of the tests. Sol comes to the restaurant with his dish on the menu as they decide to move through with the wedding preparations. Sol one day texts Jen to tell her to return home. After a month or two, his cancer has advanced and he needs to start a clinical study for his recovery. He welcomes her with a puppy named Otis. They talk about delaying the wedding, but their friends advise getting married quickly in three weeks with the assistance of friends and strangers while Sol receives therapy. Kyle, Sol’s friend, misses everything as the wedding is being planned since his illness makes him think about losing his father, something he hasn’t dealt with. Jenn is told by Sol about the trial’s adverse effects, including the inability to taste food, and that she should just move on with her life. She assures him that she is beside him and that he is not by himself. In front of all of their friends and family, Jenn and Sol got married. Kyle turns up at the reception following the nuptials.
